Hattie Nichols

Hi! I'm Hattie, a person-centred counsellor supporting mothers / birthing parents with any challenges relating to parenthood - including pregnancy, postnatal support and the parenting journey thereafter. I work in-person, online and in nature-based settings.

The first years after having a baby are seen as being the most happy time of life, yet for many mums it is a time when you may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, anxious and isolated. I understand the unique challenges and emotional complexities that come with pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood and I offer a supportive and nurturing space where you can talk through any issues surrounding motherhood and / or the experience of becoming a mum / birthing parent and the transition involved.

To keep sessions accessible, I offer a reduced (online) rate for non-working mothers. You are also welcome to have your baby present in the sessions.

You can find out more on my website- www.hattienichols.com.

I also work for a charity called Release Therapy for Women in Brighton and we run therapeutic support groups for new mums, 2nd time mums, mums who are survivors of sexual trauma and also a coffee morning for NICU mums - find out more here: www.releaseforwomen.org.uk
